We take the time to establish personal relationships with our clients, design team, and subcontractor team. We are not just building. We are creating an experience with our client. We make sure our clients are engaged and included in the process. The homes we build are enjoyable of course, but we ensure the process and experience of building are enjoyable as well. We work very hard to communicate well and engage with all parties involved. History

Travis Smith, Founder and President of Equinox Construction Group, graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Business. He always loved the idea and excitement of creating things and building unique projects that people love and enjoy. This passion led him to a career in residential construction. With over 20 years of experience with other residential construction firms, Travis founded Equinox Construction Group in 2019. Travis started Equinox to create a company that matched his vision for how business should be done. ECG is a much more personalized and family-type experience with clients and the entire team. From the internal ECG Team to industry partners, architects, designers, subcontractors and suppliers, Equinox strives to create an outstanding building experience for all parties involved. The Equinox Construction Group mission is to do great work with great people, create amazing projects, and build relationships that stand the test of time.

Our team is made up of experienced contractors who work hand in hand with professional architects to develop drawings and detailed plans. We then bring those plans to life with quality construction and craftsmanship.
